The sun as we all know it travels in a particular portion of the sky every year. This travel gives rise to the fact that the sun rises and sets in a different place every year. On this path are also present the twelve signs of the zodiac or what we call sun signs. They are called so because the sun spends roughly a month in each of these signs. Each one of the sun signs also has various houses which the sun and planets occupy. The position of sun in your zodiac determines how you focus your energies and the kind of personality traits that make you.
